Your focus at x1F

Join us in a fast-moving data integration project for a leading organization in the financial services sector. The focus of this role is the design and implementation of data pipelines that connect multiple source systems with a modern Snowflake-based data platform. Together with your team, you build and continuously improve reliable and scalable data integration flows across a complex banking landscape.

Your tasks

  • Implementing: You support the implementation of data integration pipelines using Apache Kafka and Flink, connecting multiple source systems to a Snowflake-based data platform.
  • Developing: In your role, you contribute to building and enhancing streaming and integration components within a distributed data engineering setup.
  • Collaborating: Working closely with your team, you engage with colleagues across DACH to align implementation details and ensure smooth integration across systems.
  • Testing: You support testing and validation of data pipelines to ensure stable, reliable, and consistent data delivery across the platform

Your skills and experience

  • Kafka Experience: Solid hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in development or integration projects.
  • Data Integration: Experience in building and implementing data pipelines or integration solutions in complex system landscapes.
  • Streaming Technologies: Familiarity with Flink or comparable stream processing frameworks is a plus.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in financial services or other regulated environments is beneficial.
  • Language Skills: Very good English skills at C1 level are required. German skills for project-related communication with stakeholders are beneficial.
  • Mobility: Occasional trips to Germany will be required for team and project meetings.
