(Senior) Data Analytics Consultant (m/f/d) | German speaking

• Consulting: You provide strategic and architectural consulting to clients in the banking and insurance sector, focusing on data platforms, reporting, and business intelligence.
• Requirements analysis: You analyse business requirements, translate them into robust data and reporting concepts, and ensure close alignment between business units and IT.
• BI architecture: You design and implement customized BI architectures and reporting solutions on modern data platforms, applying best practices such as star schema, data historization, and CI/CD.
• Knowledge transfer: You prepare and present results in an audience-appropriate manner, provide decision-making foundations for stakeholders, and support the establishment of a data-driven decision-making culture.
• Data modelling and processes: Your structured approach to data modelling and quick understanding of client processes enable you to consistently evolve business and technical data models into sustainable BI solutions.
  

• BI and analytics expertise: Proven experience with leading BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud) and the ability to design sustainable, scalable BI solutions.
• Data modelling and SQL: Expertise in data modelling (star schema, historization) and advanced SQL skills, including complex queries with window functions and CTEs.
• Modern data platforms: Hands-on experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric) and solid understanding of data warehouse and data lake architectures.
  
• Business and domain understanding: Strong business acumen to structure and prioritise requirements; experience in banking, insurance, or large enterprise environments is a plus.
• Delivery and collaboration: Proficiency in requirements analysis and project delivery using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps; experience with CI/CD, Spark, or a background in data engineering/data science is advantageous.
• Language and mobility: Fluent German (C1 level or higher) and excellent command of English, combined with a willingness to travel to Germany on a regular basis (approximately every 3–6 months).
