Shape SAP FPSL and FI-GL solutions that truly meet client needs. You’ll advise on subledger architectures, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and make reporting structures work effectively in practice. At the same time, drive project workstreams, collaborate closely with technical teams, and support knowledge sharing across the team. This way, finance transformation projects become tangible and successful outcomes are delivered.
You will join a team of around 10 based in Greece, working mainly remotely, with weekly or bi-weekly meetings in Athens.
Your tasks
- Design: Design and configure SAP applications (e.g., FPSL, FI-GL) to client specifications
- Analyze: Analyze and document client business and technical requirements
- Develop: Design Accounting logic (T-accounts) per Business Requirements
- Ensure: Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory standards in FPSL designs
- Advise: Advise clients on FPSL capabilities, industry best practices, and transformation opportunities
- Conduct: Conduct workshops and steer stakeholders through design decisions
- Guide: Provide expert guidance on subledger architecture, integration with SAP FI-GL, and data models
- Drive: Drive project workstreams, manage deliverables, and ensure timely execution
- Mentor: Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Collaborate: Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, integration, data migration) to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Support: Support data migration, reconciliation, and cutover activities
- Test: Design and create testing scenarios and expected outcomes, execute and document testing results (e.g., system integration, user acceptance, performance)
- Learn: Demonstrate ability to digest, incorporate, and leverage new knowledge
Your skills and experience
- Experience: Around five years of experience in SAP Financial Services industry
- Implement: At least 2 full cycle implementations of Finance Transformation projects in SAP applications, preferably S/4 HANA for Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) or S/4 FI-GL
- Knowledge: Business knowledge in Insurance and/or Banking sector
- Accounting: Good Accounting knowledge
- Analytical: Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Standards: Familiarity with accounting frameworks: IFRS 9, IFRS 17, US GAAP, Solvency II, or similar
- Collaboration: Experience working with developers on functional specs, enhancements, and interfaces
- Data: Understanding of data modeling, migrations, and reporting structures in FPSL
- Communication: Proficient in English, both written and verbal, including professional communication
- Organization: Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in economics, computer science, information technology, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
Nice-to-Have
- Advanced Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Banking
- Certification: SAP FPSL or FI-GL Certification
- Methodology: Familiarity with Project Management methodologies (Agile, ASAP, Activate)
