Shape and deliver finance transformation initiatives with a strong focus on SAP/Fioneer Financial Products Subledger (FPSL). You will bridge accounting requirements and system design, helping clients build compliant, scalable, and future-ready finance architectures.
You will join a team of around 10 based in Greece, working mainly remotely.
Your tasks
- Analyze & Design: Gather, assess, and document business and technical requirements to translate into scalable solution designs, accounting logic, and T-account structures.
- Design: Configure and tailor SAP/Fioneer solutions such as FPSL and FI-GL to create effective finance and subledger solutions.
- Advise: Guide clients on FPSL capabilities, finance transformation strategies, accounting best practices, and regulatory requirements, including IFRS and GAAP.
- Facilitate: Contribute in workshop and design discussions, and support stakeholders in making informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate: Collaborate with multiple workstreams, coordinate deliverables, and coordinate with technical teams across development, integration, and data migration to ensure successful project execution.
- Validate: Support data migration, reconciliation, and cutover activities. Design, execute, and document test scenarios, including integration, user acceptance, and performance testing.
Your skills and experience
- Experience: 4 or more years of experience in SAP/Fioneer Financial Services, including at least one full-cycle finance transformation implementation with SAP FPSL and/or SAP FI-GL.
- Accounting & Regulatory Expertise: Solid accounting knowledge with familiarity in frameworks such as IFRS 9, IFRS 17, US GAAP, Solvency II, or comparable regulatory standards.
- Solution Design & Integration: Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications and working closely with development teams on enhancements, interfaces, and integrations.
- Data & Reporting: Understanding of FPSL data models, data migration approaches, reconciliation processes, and reporting structures.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a comparable field. A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Banking is a plus
- Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. German is considered a plus.
