Your focus at x1F

Join us in building a modern data platform for a leading organization in the financial services sector. In this role, you contribute your expertise across the full lifecycle of Snowflake-based solutions, from requirements analysis to implementation. Working closely with customers, project teams, and nearshore colleagues, you help shape robust data products and support the successful delivery of a large-scale data platform initiative.

Your tasks

  • Developing: Contribute to the implementation of use cases and data products in Snowflake and support the continuous evolution of the platform.
  • Implementing: Evaluate requirements, develop solution concepts, and translate business needs into practical Snowflake-based implementations.
  • Testing: Perform developer tests and support the validation of implemented solutions to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Collaborating: Act as a key interface between customers, onshore teams, and nearshore colleagues, helping to align requirements and implementation activities.
  • Advising: Share your expertise in Snowflake and data platforms within the project team and contribute to finding pragmatic and scalable solutions.

Your skills and experience

  • Snowflake Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake development and the implementation of data solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Data Platforms: Proven experience in building and implementing modern data platforms and cloud-based data architectures.
  • dbt: Practical experience with dbt and data transformation processes within modern ELT environments.
  • Coordination: Experience working across distributed delivery teams and acting as a bridge between onshore and nearshore colleagues.
  • Certification: Relevant Snowflake certifications such as SnowPro are expected.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in financial services, banking, or other regulated environments.
  • Language Skills: Very good English skills at C1 level are required. German skills for project-related communication with customers and stakeholders are beneficial.
  • Mobility: Occasional trips to Germany will be required for team and project meetings.
