Senior Software Developer (m/f/d) – FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform / German speaking

The focus of this role is the technical enhancement of the FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform (formerly Front Arena) in the capital markets environment. Together with business units and clients, you ensure that trading and risk processes are implemented in the system in a stable, high-performance, and practical way.

• Development: You implement technical solutions related to the FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform and translate business requirements into stable software solutio
• Analysis: You analyze existing system and process landscapes, identify optimization potential, and derive technical improvements.
• Optimization: You continuously enhance applications, interfaces, and workflows with regard to performance, stability, and automation.
• Collaboration: Together with business units, business analysts, administrators, and development teams, you drive technical requirements in a structured manner through to implementation.
• Quality assurance: You ensure traceable code and meaningful logging, clean documentation, and a system landscape that remains maintainable in the long term.

• Experience: Practical experience in software development within the capital markets environment, ideally in securities trading or with trading platforms.
  
• System knowledge: Very good knowledge of the FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform (Front Arena) as well as ideally Automic.
  
• Technologies: Confident handling of Python and SQL as well as experience with development environments such as PyCharm or Visual Studio; additional knowledge of code versioning tools, for example Git, is desirable.
  
• Communication: Clear coordination with business units and development teams as well as a confident presence in project environments.
  
• Language skills: German language skills at C1 level and good English skills.
  
• Way of working: Flexible working – remotely, from our offices, and, when required, directly on-site with clients.
