Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d) - FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform / German speaking

In the capital markets environment, precise processes and stable systems across the entire value chain are essential – from trade to settlement. This is exactly where you come in: You analyze requirements from front, middle, and back office teams related to the FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform (formerly Front Arena) and support their functional implementation together with our clients and development teams.

• Consulting: You support our clients not only in the Front Office, but also in adjacent middle- and back-office processes such as trade lifecycle, settlement, accounting, reporting, and reconciliation.
• Front-to-back thinking: You translate business requirements across the entire trade lifecycle (trade capture, confirmation, settlement, valuation, posting) into a clean system implementation within the FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform (formerly Front Arena).
• Further development: You consider trading-, risk-, and accounting-related requirements (e.g. valuation logic, P&L, regulatory reporting) in the further development of the platform.
• Optimization: You challenge trading and risk processes with a focus on efficient workflows and a clean system implementation.
• Coordination: You work closely with downstream systems and business units (e.g. back office, finance, risk, regulatory) and ensure a consistent end-to-end process chain.
• Documentation: You document processes, requirements, and results in a clear, understandable, and traceable way.

• Experience: Practical experience in the capital markets environment – in Front Office, Middle Office, or Backoffice, e.g. in trading support, operations, settlement, accounting, or risk.
  
• System knowledge: Experience with the FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform (Front Arena), particularly in its usage or functional support across the trade lifecycle (e.g. confirmation, valuation, posting, reporting).
  
• Process understanding: Solid understanding of front-to-back processes in securities trading as well as an interest in mapping these processes holistically within systems.
  
• Analytical skills: Experience in gathering, structuring, and evaluating business requirements.
  
• Communication: Confident appearance, structured collaboration, and clear communication in client environments.
  
• Language skills: German language skills at C1 level and good English skills.
  
• Way of working: You work flexibly – remotely, from our offices, and, when required, directly on-site with clients in Germany.
