Senior SAP Basis Consultant (m/f/d) – German speaking

You ensure stable, secure and scalable SAP Basis landscapes. With you, clients move safely across on‑premise and cloud environments. You plan, migrate and operate SAP systems with a clear focus on reliability, performance and smooth run.

• Consulting: With your expertise you advise clients on complex, heterogeneous SAP landscapes, on‑premise and in the cloud. You identify risks early and propose practical solutions.
  
• Planning: Through your know‑how you design target architectures for SAP Basis technologies. You align roadmaps with business priorities and translate them into actionable plans.
  
• Migrating: With your experience you deliver OS/DB migrations and Unicode conversions. You ensure data integrity, performance and minimal downtime.
  
• Converting: You guide the technical workstream of S/4HANA conversions. You coordinate stakeholders, prepare systems and secure a clean cutover.
  
• Operating: You run SAP system landscapes reliably. You manage performance, patches, upgrades and security baselines across on‑prem, remote and outtasking models.
  
• Optimizing: By monitoring and root‑cause analysis you improve stability and throughput. You harden operations, automate routines and document changes clearly.
  
• Collaborating: You work closely with client teams and partners. You lead workshops, provide status updates and keep everyone aligned.

• Qualification: Degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• Experience: At least 1 year operating SAP systems in production environments.
• Certification: SAP Basis and SAP OS/DB Migration certification.
  
• Databases: Strong knowledge of HANA, Oracle, DB2 LUW, MS SQL and or MaxDB.
• Operating systems: Solid skills in Unix, Linux and Windows.
  
• Languages: German at C1 or higher and good English skills.
  
• Work mode:  Openness to travel for project assignments in Germany and to work in a hybrid setup.
