Senior Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

Our Cloud Platform Services unit is continuously growing. As a Senior Cloud Engineer in our nearshore delivery unit, you will ensure the stable, secure, and efficient operation of public and hybrid cloud environments. With your expertise in automation, infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring, you will take cloud solutions to the next level. You will work in agile DevOps teams, take ownership in incident management, and drive the modernization of our customer environments. Security and compliance are always top of mind for you, and you support your team as part of the 24/7 operations support.

• Operations: Monitor and manage cloud infrastructures in public and hybrid environments
• Development: Modernize and implement cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or StackIT
• Automation: Use tools for orchestration and efficient management of cloud workloads
• Security: Design secure architectures (e.g. IAM, KMS, network) and respond to threats
• Collaboration: Work in agile DevOps teams with CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps or GitLab
• Responsibility: Analyze and resolve issues using monitoring tools like Grafana and join the rotating 24/7 on-call duty
• Project work: Contribute to customer projects and take technical lead in smaller assignments

• Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, StackIT), ideally with certifications
• Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud operations, architectures, services, and best practices
• Automation: Knowledge in orchestration and infrastructure-as-code, especially with Terraform
• Security: Strong awareness of cloud security and compliance
• Communication: Confident language skills in German and English, at least B2
